2019 Summer CSA Share Update

We will be pushing back the start date of our Summer CSA Shares to the third or the fourth week of June. With all the Spring rain, we are still waiting to get into our fields, and our original estimation of starting June 10th needs to be changed. Summer Shares will still run for 16 weeks, and will go for longer into the fall. Fall CSA Shares will not be affected by this change. Thank you to all of our members in advance for your flexibility, and we will be posting updates weekly regarding the start of Summer Shares!

Spring Shares Have Started, But It’s Not Too Late To Join!

ATTENTION RETURNING AND NEW SUMMER CSA SHARE CUSTOMERS:

In an effort to keep our share prices low, we will not be including bread and jam in everyone’s basket the first two weeks of the summer season. We are dedicated to keeping our shares as affordable as possible for our customers, and we have maintained the same share price for over 4 years. In order to stay consistent with our share pricing, we have decided to cut out the bread and jam we distribute to everyone over the first two weeks of the season. We apologize for any inconvenience, and hope you will understand. PLEASE NOTE: Our bread share will now run for the full 16 weeks of the season, and members who sign up for the bread share will receive bread in those first two weeks.

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, a concept bringing together farms and members of the community to share in a mutually beneficial relationship.

Members purchase a share at the beginning of the season, providing farmers with money to buy seeds and supplies, cover their overhead, pay their employees, and a guaranteed customer base throughout the season.
