Final Week of Fall Shares 2019! Pickup Tuesday, Nov. 26th! Thank You CSA Members!

THANK YOU CSA MEMBERS!

The last week of CSA shares for the 2019 season is finally upon us, and the crew on the farm is looking forward to a little time to relax before gearing up again for 2020. This year has been full of surprises, as they all are. Some of the surprises were wonderful, and some difficult, but they all offered an opportunity to learn and improve. We are happy with how our 2019 CSA shares panned out, but we also saw a lot of areas where we can, and will, improve upon for 2020. Most importantly, however, is how you, our CSA members and supporting community members, perceived shares this year. Without you our farm would not exist, and we aim to put together the best CSA shares and farm store we possibly can in order to maintain your support. With that in mind, we end every CSA season with a call for feedback. What did you appreciate about our shares this year, what would you like to see different? If you have any comments on how the season went this year, please let us know. Either positive or negative, we can use whatever you can offer to improve upon next year. Thank you!

Week 7 of Fall Shares!

WEEK 7 PICKUP IS ON TUESDAY, 11/26

It’s the final week of fall shares, and we were grateful to share the harvest with you all over the past couple of months! If anyone needs to make arrangements for an early pickup due to travel plans, or otherwise, please respond to this email and we will try our best to get your basket ready for you early.

Shares will go out: Tuesday 11/26
Pick up is in the barn anytime after 3:30pm

Some veggies may come with limited pest damage. We are committed to operating as a 100% Spray and Pesticide Free farm, and one of the results of that is occasional pest problems. Typically the extent of the damage is small holes nibbled by insects, and we will never pass out vegetables that have lost their nutritional integrity due to pest damage. We hope you will understand!

A ? signifies a crop that we pass out over a couple of weeks. This could be because it is just starting to come in and is not yet producing enough to pass out to everyone in the same week, or because the crop produces smaller amounts over an extended period of time (like in the case with broccoli). We make sure that everyone receives an equal share, even if it is passed out over a few weeks. If we do not pass out a crop to every basket on a share day, we make note where we left off and resume in that spot the following week.
