Winter News 1/22/19! 10 Days Left to Save, Spring Shares are Open!

Early Bird Special Round II–JUST 10 DAYS LEFT!

We are offering another chance to save on your 2019 Summer Share!

For our second round of the early bird special, we are offering $15 off for any shares bought and paid in full by February 1st!
When writing checks, please subtract $15 from your order total if paying by Feb. 1st

We are offering this incentive to sign up early because due to the financial workings of our CSA Farm. Our operating expenses are largely front loaded towards Winter and Spring spending ( buying seeds, tools, supplies, etc), and yet the heaviest inflow of cash happens long after the farming season gets underway. This is why we ask for early signups and payments, so that we can cover the expenses we need to make in the Winter to get the best start we can in the Spring. We have struggled the past couple of years turning the profit we need to comfortably buy supplies in the Winter, but with the help of you, our members, we can change that trend. Each share sold in December makes a direct contribution toward getting prepared for a productive Spring. Everyone at Tracie’s loves farming and the support we get from our members throughout the season, and we are working our hardest to turn around our financial woes to continue to offer you produce of the highest quality.

Our 2019 Summer Share Signups are open to everyone, not just the early birds! You don’t need to pay by Feb. 1st to sign up for your 2019 Summer Share. We offer flexible payment plans to our members that do not wish to, or are not able to, pay for the entire price of the share up front. Our only requirements for payment are a $50 down payment upon signing up for your Summer Share, and to have the entirety of the CSA Share paid for in full by July 1st, 2019. We want everyone to be able to enjoy our produce, and offering payment plans is one way we are able to make that possible! 2019 Spring Shares Are Now Open!

Our 2019 Spring Share signup page is now live! This year the Spring share will run for 12 weeks from March 14th-May 30th, with pickups on Thursdays in our barn.

We currently have Chard, Kale, and Spinach growing in our greenhouses for the Spring Shares, and will be seeding even more greens starting February 1st! We are hoping to offer Lettuce Mix, Arugula, Scallions, Cilantro, Baby Kale, Red Spinach, Radishes, Rhubarb, and Asparagus in our Spring Shares this year!

We offer the Spring Share to members that crave local greens coming out of the long New England winter. That being said, our Spring Shares do not include a lot of variety outside of greens. Later in the Spring we start to offer Asparagus and Rhubarb, but the early weeks of the Spring Share cater mostly to the salad lovers out there! Please follow the link below to learn more about our Spring Shares and to sign up. We cap our Spring Membership at 60 shares, so act fast!
