Thank You 2018 CSA Share Members!

Thank you to everyone that supported our farm by purchasing a CSA Share during the 2018 growing season. As a CSA Farm, your support is what keeps us up and running, and we want to do so for you all for a long time. Please, if there is any feedback you would like to send regarding the shares during any season, please email our Farm Manager, Jack Rixey, at . It is his first year in the position, and feedback can only help us improve our business. We aim to serve our members by growing the highest quality produce for you, but we also want to make it a pleasant experience on the farm all around. Any suggestions for how we can improve our business will be received with open minds. It is our pleasure to grow your produce, and we hope you all will come back for the 2019 growing season!

Thank you!

Summer Share

Earn $25 by Signing up For Your Summer Share!

Signups for 2019 Summer CSA Shares are now open, and as an added incentive to signing up early we are offering either a $25 discount off the total price of your share OR a $25 gift certificate to our farm store! You decide! In order to receive the $25 credit, Summer Shares must be signed up for and paid in full by Dec. 18, 2018 (two weeks!).

We are offering this incentive to sign up early because due to the financial workings of our CSA Farm. Our operating expenses are largely front loaded towards Winter and Spring spending ( buying seeds, tools, supplies, etc), and yet the heaviest inflow of cash happens long after the farming season gets underway. This is why we ask for early signups and payments, so that we can cover the expenses we need to make in the Winter to get the best start we can in the Spring. We have struggled the past couple of years turning the profit we need to comfortably buy supplies in the Winter, but with the help of you, our members, we can change that trend. Each share sold in December makes a direct contribution toward getting prepared for a productive Spring. Everyone at Tracie’s loves farming and the support we get from our members throughout the season, and we are working our hardest to turn around our financial woes to continue to offer you produce of the highest quality.
