Week 5 of Summer Shares

Week 5 of Summer Shares: Week of July 13th.

Just a reminder- the baskets will be on the tables inside our barn ready to go after 3:30 PM.  Please return the previous week’s basket when you pick up your new share!  Delivery members- just put the empty basket outside where the driver leaves it for you.

Sometimes an item doesn’t make it all the way around to all the members. We keep track of where we left off and hand it out to people who didn’t get it the following week.  These items are often listed with a ‘?’ next to it on our harvest list!

Interested in being a pick-up location in Keene for our Fall Share?  We are looking for someone to pick-up Fall Share baskets at the farm and bring them to their house for people to pick up.  You will receive credit toward you Fall Share for doing so!  Email farmers@traciesfarm.com for more details and information!

Hi there just wanted to let you know we have been enjoying our basket each week. Our basket has been very light of the items you have publish for our shares the past two weeks. Maybe I have it wrong but there wasn’t any produce from the scallions on down your list this week. Not sure if we aren’t suppose to get them.

Hi Ellen, Just saw this. The list is my best guess as to what will be harvested. We realized the baskets week 5 would be very full because shares would be getting lettuce and Bok Choy and some days would also be getting Napa Cabbage. We realized Week 6 there would be no greens available and we wanted to spread out the harvest so I decided to move scallions from week 5 to week 6. This sort of thing often occurs because I write the news on Thursdays and a lot can happen between Thursday and Monday when we are in the field harvesting! Thanks for your understanding!
